With her thesis ‘The influence of message framing and issue involvement in communications on persuasion: A meat-eating application’ IMEM alumna Rebecca Hamers has won the Edcom thesis competition.

Every Edcom member (over 50 European universities and universities of applied sciences) could select one bachelor and one master thesis and send this in for the competition. After three rounds of judging, the jury announced that Rebecca’s thesis is the best. Rebecca is offered a free participation, travel and accommodation for the EACA International Summer School in Prague in July 2017.

It is also great to mention that MMI alumna Viola Bellisai became runner up in the Master competition with her thesis: ‘Assessing the effectiveness of storytelling enhanced with visuals for destination marketing’.

A great achievement of both students! The Edcom thesis competition is a great opportunity for NHTV to show the results of graduate students and their theses.
