In an interview with De Telegraaf (a Dutch daily), Hein van Oorschot expressed strong and outspoken views. The president of the Executive Board argues that politics and bureaucracy are frustrating NHTV’s attempts to become a better university.
“We are leading and we want to stay that way. We have the world’s largest programmes in the areas of leisure, hotel and tourism. But the oppressive web of ever more political rules, return on investment and suspicion don’t help us.”
