Join the Dear Future event in Tilburg on 28 September. Here the Academy for Leisure will present its new magazine Uncover. The theme of the publication is ‘The value of leisure time’. During the event the results published in the magazine are presented and there will be room for discussion.
Together with the municipality of Breda, NHTV investigated the economic impact of Serious Request 2016 (‘the glass house’).
NHTV and ADabisc have signed up for a couple of projects in which cooperation will take shape in the years to come.
NHTV was present at ITB in Berlin. ITB is the world’s leading travel trade show. Just like NHTV, it started in 1966. On 8 March, NHTV opened the yearly Dutch drink. The visitors sang because of our 50th anniversary.
On Wednesday 8 February, the kick-off for a new project with the Volunteer Academy Breda took place. In total 80 second-year Leisure students are going to develop a number of new initiatives for this institution.
On 26 January the first congresstival will be organised! A Congresstival is a trend and development where congresses are extended towards a festival. The theme of this congresstival is: ‘’The future of events – What does the future hold?”

The Master in Imagineering is back with its Open Your Mind sessions. The first session, themed ‘Inspiration’, will take place on 15 November.
From 1 November onwards smoking at the entrance of the A-building at the Archimedesstraat is no longer allowed.
As from 1 October, you will have to pay for parking in Archimedesstraat. The car park of AfL will continue to be free of charge, of course.
