On Wednesday 8 February, the kick-off for a new project with the Volunteer Academy Breda took place. In total 80 second-year Leisure students are going to develop a number of new initiatives for this institution.
On 26 January the first congresstival will be organised! A Congresstival is a trend and development where congresses are extended towards a festival. The theme of this congresstival is: ‘’The future of events – What does the future hold?”

Every year, the international propaedeutic year in Tourism and Leisure Management visits an Eastern European country. In May 2016, a group of about 140 students and eight lecturers embarked on a journey to discover Macedonia and Albania, “the last secret of Europe”.
In cooperation with IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions), NHTV organised a five-day leadership training course for managers and CEOs of amusement parks in Europe and the Middle East. Participants, trainers and organisers look back on a successful first edition of this course.
