This involvement means to even more push the frontiers between academia and industry on different levels like relationships with industry, EU funding, research e.g. as alignment of the goals within Edcom. Next to that Edcom is looking for accredited courses, trainings, defined platforms and processes that allow academia and industry to encourage creating value for both parties.
This is a good opportunity for not only ADE, but also for all NHTV employees and students who are involved in research or education related projects within international context. Also if they are interested to publish their research or other education related projects.

The European Association of Communications Agencies (EACA), together with the founding academic partners, has set up the European Institute for Commercial Communications Education (Edcom). The institute strives to promote excellence in commercial communications education and research and to further exchanges between the European commercial communications sector and academic partners.
